I sent the doctor a sexy poem

Kate Dougherty

Was Katie’s skirt black or blue, and did it fit her
properly?
Bananas make Katie gag
when they’re mushy. I should eat every brown
banana. Every brown banana spooning
its partners soft and sweet.
Where do we drop our peels?
When are we served croissants? Do they offer
a low-fat option?
Do men with long hair have more fun?
How did the wind blow inside and around her skirt?
Was it yellow or red?
Was it a pencil, a peasant, or a mini?
Did Katie cut the man’s long hair or rip it out?
Was she mad or sad? Feeling hot or being cold?
Katie’s vagina was frozen raw with a doctor’s wand.
The nurse promised a cherry ‘pop
if she promised to keep her lips shut.
