As someone who has been in both worlds, I can relate to Lisa's experiences with slam and academic poetry realms and trying to reconcile the aesthetics of the two. And as someone who has only lived in one place, I appreciated the perspective of how environment impacts the emotions and, in turn, the creative work.</description>
