Sarah Long has lived in Los Angeles since 2003, where she has worked as a florist, film set gopher, nanny, and freelance editor. She co-founded the online literary journal Two Hawks Quarterly with some writing chums from the BA program at Antioch University, where she is currently completing her MFA in Fiction and Poetry. The main thing I see in the writing is this strain of what I call “hysterical lyricism.” Certain younger writers are just so saturated by visual media. »
